EAR LOBE REDUCTION AND RECONSTRUCTION

The ear lobes can be stretched and elongated due to wearing heavy jewelry or due to aging (the ear lobes may enlarge with changing of their shape as age advance). Many women inquire ear lobe reduction or reshaping after dehiscence (splitting of the skin) caused by heavy jewelry, which gradually causes enlargement of the pin hole and splitting of the skin.

Ear lobe reshaping is performed under local anesthesia on an outpatient basis.
